Light creates shadow. In creating art, whether a sketch, painting or photograph, the affect of light and shadows has enormous influence on the final image. The golden hour and the blue hour-times of day we photographers relish for taking outdoor photos. But sometimes a subject or scene happens where the light and/or shadow is so enticing, including at night, that the result can be perfect.
